Write one function of each of the following components of the transport system in human beings.

Blood vessels: they are elastic muscular tubes that act as channel to carry blood in the body.
Lymph: it is yellow connective tissue. The excess fluid that comes from the inter-cellular spaces are drained back into the blood by the lymph.
Heart: it is a hollow muscular organ that pumps oxygenated blood from the lungs to the various body parts and deoxygenated blood from the body to the lungs for purification.
