Tumour cells are dangerous due to the following reasons
(i) These grow rapidly and also damage normal cells.
(ii) Cells from tumours can get sloughed off and may reach other parts of the body via blood and start a new tumour, i.e. metastasis.
(iii) Tumour cells compete for nutrients and may starve the other cells
