(i) Anaphylaxis It is defined as an allergic reaction in an organism to a foreign substance to which it has previously become sensitised resulting from the release of histamine, serotonin and other vasoactive substances.
(ii) Contact dermatitis It is the inflammation of the skin due to contact with a substance to which the person is allergic.
