State Archimedes' Principle. Why does a body undergo a loss in its weight when immersed in a liquid ?

Archimedes. Principle : When a body is immersed fully or partially in a fluid, if experiences and upward force that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by it.
When a body is immersed in a liquid, the buoyant force of the liquid acts upon it in the upward direction. Due to this reason these is an apparent loss in the weight of the body.
