If an a triangle A B C , b=3ca n d C-B=9...

If an a triangle `A B C , b=3ca n d` `C-B=90^0,` then find the value of `tanB`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

since `(b)/(sin B) = (c)/(sin C)`, we have
`(sin B)/(sin C) = (b)/(c)`
or `(sin B)/(sin(90^(@) + B)) = (b)/(c)`
or `tan B = (b)/(c) = 3`
