A cross between a red flower bearing plant and a white flower bearing plant of Antirrhinum produced all plants having pink flowers. Work out a cross to explain how this is possible.

This type of inheritance is called incomplete dominance as red colour allele (R) Is not completely dominant over recessive (r) allele. So partial expression of both alleles in a heterozygote results in a phenotype intermediate between those of two homozygotes , i.e, pink colour of flowers
