The correct Answer is:
D

Washing soda is sodium carbonate decahydrate `(Na_(2)CO_(3).10H_(2)O)`. It is an efforescent substance i.e. gives out nine water molecules crustalization on keeping in air.
`Na_(2)CO_(3).10H_(2)O overset(??)(to)underset("Sodium carbonate monohydrate")(Na_(2)CO_(3)H_(2)O+9H_(2)O)`
But on heating it loses all the water molecules to form anhydraous sodium carbonate or soda ash
`Na_(2)CO_(2)H_(2)Ooverset(??)underset("Soda ash")(Na_(2)CO_(2)+H_(2)O)`
