The consequential force can be defined as a force which is called into play, when a force is applied on an object.
(a) When a cricket ball is made to roll on the ground byapplying force, it stops after covering a certaindistance, although, no force is applied to stop it It is because the force of friction which is called consequential force.
(b) When we stretch a spring or a rubber band by applying force, the consequential force of tention acts on it.
