What is the difference between charging by conduction and charging by induction?

(a) Charging by Conduction: A charged body, when touched to an uncharged body, charges it with a charge of the same polar ity as itself.
(b) Charging by Induction: A charged body, when brought near to an uncharged body, induces a charge in it of the opposite polarity.
