If a current of 0.5 A flows through a metallic wire for 2h, then how many electrons would flow through the wire?

Here, current, i = 0.5A, time, t = 2h
Quantity of charge ( Q ) passed = Current (i) `xx` Time ( t )
`= ( 0.5 A ) xx ( 2 xx 60 xx 60s)`
`= 3600 A s = 3600 C`
Again, `Q = n e^(-)`
Where, n = number of electrons,
`e^(-) =` charge on electron
`:. n = ( Q )/( e^(-) ) = ( 3600C) /( 1.6 xx 10^(-19)C) = 2250 xx 10^(19)`
Thus , number of electrons `= 2.250 xx 10^(22)`
