An ordinary cube has 4 blank faces, one face mark 2 and another marked 3, then what is the probability of obtaining 12 in 5 throws?

The correct Answer is:
`(5)/(2592)`

The total number of ways in `n = 6^(5)`. A total of 12 in 5 throw can be obtained in following two ways:
(i) one blank and four 3's can be obtained in `.^(5)C_(1)=5` ways.
(ii) three 2's and two 3's can be obtained in `.^(5)C_(2) = 10` ways.
Hence, the required probability is `15//6^(5) = 5//2592`.
