Prove that `sin^(-1)((2x)/(1+x^2))=tan^(-1)((2x)/(1-x^2))`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`sin^(-1).(2x)/(1 + x^(2)) = 2 tan^(-1) x, -1 le x le 1`
`tan^(-1).(2x)/(1 - x^(2)) = 2 tan^(-1) x, -1 lt x lt 1`
Therefore, equation is satisfied by `-1 lt x lt 1`
