If one root of the equation `x^(2)-ix-(1+i)=0,(i=sqrt(-1))` is `1+i`, find the other root.

All coefficients of the given equation are not real, then other roots `!=1-i`
Let other root be `alpha`, the sum of roots `=i`
i.e. `1+i+alpha=iimpliesalpha=(-1)`
Hence the other root is `(-1)`.
