Asexual reproduction does not produce new combinations or variation. Sexual reproduction produces a lot of variations due to crossing over, chance recombination, random fertilisation and independent assortment. Angiosperms and vertebrates have complex structural organisation and longer life span. They have adapted sexual reproduction for better survival
