What is Corpus Luteum ? Name a hormone secreted by it.

Corpus luterum (yellow body) is a temporary endocrine structure formed by ruptured follicle after ovulation. It contains yellow pigment lutein. It secretes following hormones.
(a) High level of progesterone. (b) Moderate level of estradiol (estrogen) and inhibin.
