Darwin.s finchies also called Galapagos finches are a group of about 14 species of passerine. They were first collected by Charles Darwin on Galapagos island.
The term Darwin.s finches was first used by Percy Lowe in 1936. The birds vary in size shape beaks which are adapted to different food sources. These finches are dull coloured.
