Germ line gene therapy. It is a therapy in which germ cells i.e. sperms or eggs (even zygotes) are modified by the introduction of functional genes which are ordinary integrated into their genomes. Therefore, the change due to therapy in heritable and passed on to later generations.
Interest-sensitive speciesism. Use of animals in biotechnological reserach causes greater suffering to the animals. But most people seem to accept some animal suffering to serve the basic interest and welfare of mankind, this attitude has been termed as interest sensitive speciesism. It is one of the most common ethical issue.
