What are critical habitats ? What is men’s duty towards them?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

It is a habitat or area essential for the conservation of a listed species, though the area need not actually be occupied by the species at the time it is designated.
Critical habitat must be designated for all the threatened and endangered species under the ESA (Endangered Species Act).
Man.s duty is to conserve and maintain these areas to prevent the species from extinction and maintain the biodiversity.
