Define the following terms :-
(a) Mimicry, (b) Acclimatization, (c) Ectotherms (d) Endotherms.

Explanation

(a) Mimicry. It is resemblance of one species with another in order to obtain advantage especially against predation. The species being imitated is called model and the animal which imitates is called mimic.
(b) Acclimatization. It is the process in which an individual organisms adjusts to a gradual change in its environment (e.g., change in temperature) allowing it to maintain performance across a range of environmental conditions.
(c) Ectotherms. The animals whose body temperature changes and matches with that of the environment, in which they are living e.g., Reptiles.
(d) Endotherms. The animals whose body temperature is constant irrespective or change in outside environment e.g., birds and Mammals.
