"Environmental temperature is rising." Comment on this statement.

Explanation

The average temperature of the earth is rising due to global warming. It is due to deforestation, pollution and emission of green house gases e.g., `CO_(2)`. A rise in global temperature is likely to prove disastrous for vegetation as plants are mostly stenothermal. The current residents of temperate areas will die down. The tropical plants will not be able to occupy that area because the seаonal fluctionations of temperature will not be conducive for their growth. Thus change in temperature will also have adverse effect on the stenothermal animals, which will not be able to tolerate the change and will be eliminated. This will cause a huge loss to the biodiversity.
