Competition. It is an interaction between the members of closely related species for the food or between the totally unrelated species for common food, shelter, or light. e.g., Carnivores like tiger and leopards may compete for same prey.
Parasitism. It is a mode of life in which one organism the parasite gets free lodging and meals from the other organism (host). e.g., Tapeworms in human intestine, plasmodium in RB in man.
