The polymers obtained by the condensation of two or more different monomers, are called copolymers. For example, bakelite, nylon - 66 etc. Terylene is obtained by heating terephthalic acid and glycol as follows:

It is fonned by the condensation polymerisation. Hence, it is a condensation polymer.
