What will happen if the refractive index of glass is the same as that of air?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Our eyes are unable to distinguish between two things of the same refractive index. If the refractive index of glass is equal to the refractive index of air then we will not be able to distinguish between air and glass i.e. glass will become invisible to us.
