A myopic person prefers to remove his spectacles, while reading a book. Why ?

A myopic person can not see the distant objects clearly. So spectacles used by him help him to see the distant objects clearly.
But with the same spectacles when he reads the book by keeping it at a normal distance of 25 cm, then image of the book is formed at a distance less than 25 cm. So he sees the blurred image of the book and is unable to read the book.
