Talling of mercury : Mercury does not stick to the glass surface. However, when oxidised by Oz to mercurous oxide, `Hg_2 O` it starts sticking to glass surface. It is called tailing of mercury.
`O_3 to O_2 + [O]`
`2Hg + [O] to Hg_2 O`
`O_3 + 2Hg to O_2 + Hg_2 O`
