What is test tube baby ? What is the significance of test tube baby?

Test Tube Baby. The baby produced as a result of external or In Vitro fertilisation (IVF), followed by embryo transfer (ET) in a receptive female either upto 8 cell stage in the follopian tube (ZIFT) or in the uterus (IUT) if more than 8 cell stage of embryo. It is an ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) method which helps in solving infertility problems in the couples.
