Briefly explain the IVF and ET. What are the conditions in which these methods are advised?

IVF and ET stands for in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer. The egg of a wife/donor is removed and fertilized (in vitro) by the husband/donor sperm in the laboratory under sterile conditions. The fertilized egg (zygote) when reaches upto 8 celled (blastomeres) stage, it is transferred into the fallopian tube of the host or surrogate mother (ZI FT-zygote intra fallopian transfer) and the embryos with more than 8 blastomeres into the uterus (IUT-intra uterine transfer) to complete its further development.
