Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Venereal diseases (VDs)/Reproductive tract infections RTIS, Gonorrhoea, syphilis chlamydiasis genital herpes, hepatitis-B genital warts, HIV leading to AIDS are some of the diseases or infections transmitted through sexual intercourse and are termed as sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Symptoms of STDs. It includes itching, fluid discharge, slight pain, swellings. etc. in early stage, later leading to complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) abortions, still birth, ectopic (fallopian) pregnancies, infertility or even cancer of reproductive tract, if not detected and prperly treated timely.
Nausea, abdominal pain, irregular menstrual bleeding or even breast cancer are the possible ill-effects of using contraceptives.
