A national park is an area which is strictly reserved for the welfare of the wildlife and where activities such as forestry, grazing or cultivation are not allowed. Private ownership, rights and habitat, manipulation are not permitted in a national park. National park are st-up for preserving flora, funa landscapes and historic onjects of an area. These parks are notified and controlled by central legislation but are adninistered by state governments. There are 81 National Parks in our country. e.g.., Kaziranga National Park is Assam, Corbet National Park, Uttrakhand.
