Stanford ecologist Paul Ehrlich gave rivet popper hypothesis.He justify that human activitires lead to extinction by an analogy.In an airplane all parts are joined by thiusands of rivets.If every passenger travelling in its starts popping a rivet to take home it causes species to be extinct.It might not affect flight safety initially but later on becomes dangerous over a period of time.
