Diazotisation reaction is a method for preparation of benzene diazonium chloride or simply diazonium, salt. It is prepared by treating an ice cold solution of aniline in excess of dilute HCl with `NaNO_2` at 273–278 K.This reaction is called diazotisation reaction.
