Which has more number of atoms, 100 gram of sodium or 100 gram of iron ( given atomic mass of Na= 23 u, Fe=56u)?

Atomic mass of sodium = 23u
`therefore` According to mole-concept
number of atoms in 23 g of sodium = `6.022xx10^(23)`
`therefore` number of atoms in 100 g of sodium
= `(6.022xx10^(23))/23xx100`
`=0.2618xx10^(25)`
= `2.618xx10^(24)" "...(1)`
`therefore` According to mole-concept,
number of atoms in 56 g of iron = `6.022xx10^(23)`
`therefore` number of atoms in 100 g of iorn
= `(6.023xx10^(23))/56xx100`
= `0.1075xx10^(25)`
= `1.075xx10^(24)" "...(2)`
From (1) and (2), we find that 100 g of sodium has more atoms than 100 g of iron.
