`NO_2(g)+F(g) overset("Fast")(rarr)NO_2F(g)`
In a multistep reaction, the slowest step is the rate determiņing step.
Therefore rate of the complete reaction will depend upon first step i.e.,
`NO_2(g) + F_2(g) overset("Slow")(rarr) NO_2F(g) + F(g)`
`therefore` rate=`k[NO_2][F_2]`
