Which will weigh more 10^(23) molecules ...

Which will weigh more `10^(23)` molecules of oxygen or `10^(23)` molecules of ozone and how many times ? What will be the relationship between their volumes under the same conditions of temperature and pressure?

Mass `=("Number of molecules")/( "Avogadro.s number") xx "Molar mass"`
Mass of `10^(23)` molecules of `O_(2) = ( 10^(23))/( 6.022 xx 10^(23)) xx 32 = 5.31 g`
Mass of `10^(23)` molecules of `O_(3) = ( 10^(23))/( 6.022 xx 10^(23)) xx 48 = 7.97 g`
Ratio of the mass `= ( 7.97)/( 5.31) = 1.5`
`:.` Mass of `10^(23)` molecules of `O_(3)` will be 1.5 times the mass of `10^(23)` molecules of `O_(2)`. Equal number of molecules under similar conditions of temperature and pressure have the same volume .
Hence, both `O_(3)` and `O_(2)` will have same volume.
