The compound B having molecular formula of `C_(3)H_(6)` will show addition reactions.
This compound contains one double bond and undergoes addition reaction so that it becomes a stable saturated compound. This reaction is commonly used in the hydrogenation of vegetable oils by using nickel catalyst. This helps in converting unsaturated vegetable oils (which are unstable) into saturated fats (which are more stable).
