C

Impulse=force `times ` dt
i.e, `(d(mv))/(dt) times dt`= change of momentum takng place in a short time.
`-mv sin theta-(+mv sin theta)=-2mv sin theta`
i.e., `-2 times 0.100 times 5 sqrt3/2=-0.500 sqrt3`
The force applied= rate of change of momentum
`=-(0.500 times sqrt3)/((2 times 10^-3 s))=250 sqrt3 N` to the left
