A bullet of mass 10g is fired with a rifle. The bullet takes 0.003s to move through the barrel and leaves with a velocity of `300 ms^-1` What is the force exerted on the bullet by the rifle.

`m=10g =10/1000 kg =1/100kg`
`t=0.03s ,u=0 ,v=300ms^-1`
If force exerted on the bullet by the rifle is F, then
`F times t=mv -mu`
`implies F=0.03 =1/100 times 300-1/100 times 0`
`implies F times 0.003=3-0`
`implies F=3/0.003=1000N`
