What are different types of resources used to help visually challenged persons?

Explanation

There are two types of resources used to help visually challenged persons ,
(i) Non-optical aids : These include ,
(a) Visual aids which magnify words, can provide suitable intensity of light and material at proper distances.
(b) Tactual aids which use sense of touch and include Braille writer, slate and stylus.
(c) Auditory aids which induce cassettes, tape recorders, talking books and other such devices.
(ii) Optical aids : There include bifocal lenses, contact lenses, tinted lenses, magnifiers and telescopic aids.
