Uses of plaster of Paris
(1) Plaster of Paris is used in making toys, decorative materials, jewellery, cosmetics and casts for statues.

(iii) It is used for making smooth surfaces and ornate designs on walls and ceilings.
(iv) It is used in laboratories for sealing the air gaps in apparatus to make it air tight.
