The electric field intensity at a point lying outside the sphere (non-conducting) is
`E = (1)/(4pi epsilon_(0)). (q)/(r^(2))`
`E prop (1)/(r^(2))`
The electric field intensity at the surface (r = R),
`E = (1)/(4piepsilon_(0)) (q)/(R^(2)) implies E prop (1)/(R^(2))`
where, R being the radius of sphere, The electric field intensity inside the sphere is
`E = (qr)/(4 pi epsilon_(0) R^(3)) implies E prop r`
At the centre of sphere, r = 0, `:.` E = 0
