Show that the SI unit of `epsilon_0` may be written as farad `meter^(-1)`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

We have `C=epsilon_0A/d`
or,`epsilon_0 Cd/A`.
As the SI units of C, d and A are farad, metre and `metre^2` respectively, the SI unit of `epsilon_0` is farad `metre^(-1)`.
