Find the charges on the three capacitors...

Find the charges on the three capacitors connected to a bettery as shown in figure (31.E1). Take `C_1=2.0,muF, C_2=4.0,muf, C_3=6.0,muF` and V=12 volts.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`C_1 = 2 mu F, C_2 = 4 mu F`,
C3 = 6 mu F , V = 12 V`
`C_eq = C_1 + C_2 + C_3 `
`= 2 +4 + 6`
`= 12 mu F = 12 xx 10^(-6) F`
` q_1 = 12 xx 2 = 24 mu C`,
` q_2 = 12 xx 4 = 48 mu C`
` q_3 = 12 xx 6 = 72 mu C`.
