(ii) Insects 97 species, Fishes 27 species, Amphibians 12 species, Platyhelminthes 10 species, Crustacea 9 species, Reptiles 6 species have been discovered and described by scientist.
(iii) Moths and butterflies 61 species, Beetles 38 species also identified
(iv) Most of these new species were from biological hotspots of the country. - the Himalayas, the Western Ghats and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
