D

Let the number of bananas in the second bunch = x
So, the number of bananas in first bunch = `x + x/4 = (5x)/4`
Then, according to the question `(5x)/4 - x = 3`
or `(5x - 4x)/4 = 3`
or, `x = 12`.
So, the number of bananas in the first bunch = `5 xx 12/4 = 15`.
