Natural rubber is harvested from rubber trees. Synthetic rubber is man made.
Synthetic rubbers have same properties of natural rubber including being water proof and elastic, but they have same improved properties also - they are tougher more flexible and more durable than natural rubber. Natural rubber is soluble in non-polar solvents and is non-resistant to attack by oxidising agerlts. Synthetic rubber is resistant to the action of solvents and oxidising agents.
