In fullerene carbon has 1 sigma bond present between two carbon atom. In fullerene even number of carbon atoms arranged over the surface of closed cage like structure. Each carbon atom linked with another threee carbon atoms in `sp^2` hybridisation . Hence 1 sigma bond is present between two carbon atoms.
