Let `vecF ` be the resultant of two foces ` vecF_3 and vecF_2` as shows in figure with ` F_2 gt F_1` .
` F_2 cos theta = F_1`
` F_2 cos theta = F =8 `
squaring and adding Eqs (I ) and (ii ) we get
`F_(2)^(2) =F_1 ^(2) + 64`
Given `F_1 +F_2 = 16`
Solving Eqs (iii) nad (iv ) , we get
` F_1 = 6N and F_2 = 10 N`
