Show that there con be no net charge in a region in which the electric field is uniform at all points.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

As the electric field is uniform.
Considering a perpendicular to it, We find
that it is an equi potential surface. Hence
there is no net current flow on that surface
Thus net charge in that region is zero.
