A charge Q is placed at the centre of a cub. Find the flux of the electric field through the six surfaced of the cube.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to Gauss's law, flux = `(q/epsilon_0)`
Since the charge is placed at the centre of
the cube.
Hence the flux passing through the six
surfaces
` = (Q/ 6(epsilon_0)) xx 6 = (Q/epsilon_0)` .
