According to diary entries of Moon.s phases at different times of a year made by Rohan and Rahul, each have time span of four days between each pair of two phases. So, in the entries made by Rohan, the phase is first quarter on 22nd of May, because phases on 18th of May and 26th of May are waxing crescent and waxing gibbous respectively. Similarly, in the case of Rahul, the phases observed on 17th of October and 21st of October are first quarter and waxing Gibbous respectively. So phase observed on 25th of October will be full moon because the phase observed on 29th of October is waning Gibbous. Hence option (A) correctly identifies the entries.
